Dylan is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and journalist with more than 13 years experience in digital storytelling. Through his production company, he offers video production and consultancy services for a range of news, public sector and select corporate clients. His overarching mission is to use the tools of filmmaking and communications to amplify underrepresented voices and solutions-oriented narratives.

Dylan is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and journalist with more than 13 years experience in digital storytelling. Through his production company, he offers video production and consultancy services for a range of news, public sector and select corporate clients. His overarching mission is to use the tools of filmmaking and communications to amplify underrepresented voices and solutions-oriented narratives.

Driven by his passion for social impact, Dylan has embarked on a journey with the Kong Development Project, where he serves as a link between Kong and global creative and entrepreneurial communities. His aim is to foster meaningful connections and collaborations that uphold and strengthen the core development principals of Kong, as laid out by the indigenous-led development team.

Dylan holds a Bachelor's in Media Literacy from Fairhaven College, where he served as editor-in-chief of two newspapers, one of which he founded. He received his Master’s in Journalism from UC Berkeley in 2013, with dual capstone theses in documentary and magazine writing.

His work has been recognized with the Ed Murrow Award for Excellence in Social Media and the Margaret and Will Hearst Award for Excellence in Documentary Film. He currently manages video operations for The New York Times podcast Hard Fork and serves as a producer at Al Jazeera's AJ+ project, where he reports on international news with an emphasis on Global South audiences.
